Jump Jump Jump...

Grace is quite excited about her new trampoline! She got it for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Thurston, but the box was missing a few key parts (like a bungee cord). :) The company was super great and sent us out our new parts and we FINALLY put it together a couple of weeks ago. Here she is jumping away!

This one is just because her little pony tail is so darn cute! :) You've gotta love the natural curls!

Here's a picture of her favorite new outfit... She always asks to wear her "ballerina suit." Thanks to Nana and Pop for her adorable skirt!

Grace is super excited about her "big girl chair." If I call it a high chair she quickly tells me, "It's not a high chair! It's my big girl chair!" She's quite proud...

I'm not sure where Grace learned about pig tails, but she often requests... "I want TWO pony tails!" :) So, here are her adorable two pony tails.

And lastly, last weekend we had a little game night at our house. A few friends came over with all of their kiddos and we put them all to bed and then had a fun game night. Before bedtime, the oldest little kiddo, Avery, read books to all her friends. It was so cute! (and, I should mention that Avery is only in kindergarten but is an amazing reader!!)

Happy New Year!

Well, the New Year sure did creep up on me fast. It's been a busy 2 months, and I have neglected posting on our blog. I'll give you a quick run down of our events and post a few pictures of the high lights. :)

In early December we went to a Winter Festival. You can see that snowmen in Arizona are quite different than on the east coast. :) The city trucked in snow for the kids to play with. Grace thought it was very cold and told us as we were leaving, "I'm cold... I need some hot coffee!"

We celebrated Christmas early in Arizona and then headed off to California to spend the holidays with my sister's family. Grace LOVES playing with her cousins! Christmas was so much fun this year. Grace was VERY excited about Santa "Closet."

After the holidays our squadron started night flying. To make the nights pass a little quicker without the Daddies home, the Mommies sometimes get together for play dates. Here's a picture of Grace and her two buds Keegan and Reese.
In January we celebrated Vince's 30th Birthday and then I headed off to New York to spend some time with my Mom after her surgery. She's doing great! After New York I made a weekend trip to Vegas to celebrate my best friend Rachel's 30th Birthday. It was a fun girls weekend!

This weekend we went to the Children's Museum. Grace had so much fun "shopping" at the Grocery Store, "cooking" in the kitchen, and painting the big house.

And, just so I feel up to date... here's a picture from today. Thanks to Emma Newell for providing such a pretty dress for church today! :)
